District 20-6A

Ridge Point 6, Austin 1

The Lady Panthers used a four-run inning to grab a lead and not look back at home Thursday against Austin. Grace Janik, Alexa Semeyn and Callie Mayes each collected two hits. Tiana McFarland earned two hits and drove in a run for Austin.

Ridge Point’s Malyn Simmons allowed one earned run on five hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Elkins 10, Bush 0

The Lady Knights’ Madison Lenton hit a home run, scored three times, and drove in two runs in Elkins win at home against Bush. Jenna Tansiongco (triple) and Jennah D’Oench (double) added extra-base hits. Melanie Jackson scattered two hits while striking out four over five innings.

Dulles 8, Clements 4

The Lady Vikings earned a win over Clements at home on Senior Night.

District 24-5A

Fulshear 15, Kempner 3

The Chargers made significant strides toward the playoffs on Thursday with a lop-sided win over Kempner at home.

Elizabeth Baylor, Kendall Lippold, Nicole Bodeux, Erin Smith and Emma Hagemann each had two hits, including home runs from Bodeux and Lippold for Fulshear. Bodeux drove in three runs.

Blayre Meadows (2.1 IP), Caitlin Smith (0.2 IP) and Alanna Routte (2.0 IP) combined to allow one earned run over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Sammie Shelander led the way for Kempner, collecting two hits, including a double and two RBIs.

Foster 11, Terry 0

The Lady Falcons shutout Terry to improve to 9-0 in District 24-5A play. Kylie Stamper collected two hits and scored three runs for the Lady Falcons. Emily Naiver and Alina Satcher each drove in three runs, while Ella McDowell hit a triple and drove in a run.

Madison King scattered two hits for Foster while striking out eight and walking two over five innings.

Bianca Hernandez earned one hit, a walk and a stolen base for Terry.

Lamar Cons. 15, Hightower 0

Holly Lock threw a perfect four innings in a shutout of Hightower. Lock struck out six while not allowing a single Lady Hurricane base runner without an error. Lock helped herself at the plate, hitting a double, a triple, scoring three runs and driving in one run.

Shenita Tucker went 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs scored and three RBIs.

Angleton 16, Willowridge 1

The Lady Eagles lost at Angleton on Thursday, with Alyssa Lahrmann earning a hit, a run scored and a stolen base for Willowridge.

District 25-4A

Needville 15, Stafford 0

The Lady Jays needed only three innings to dispatch their Fort Bend County foe Thursday night at Lady Jay Field. Needville scored 15 runs in the second innings, sending 19 players to the plate who collected eight, including three doubles and a triple. Madelyn Palmer, Tarah Boone and Fayth Hoover each hit doubles, while Celeste Aguilar hit a two-run triple. Boone drove in three runs while Hoover was 2-for-2 with two extra-base hits, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Abby House and Karolyn Carter combined to hold Stafford to three hits while striking out two and walking one.

Izabella Morales hit a double for Stafford.
