George Park will be even busier starting next week.

Lamar Little League baseball started its spring season this week and it will soon be joined by the Rose-Rich Girls Softball Association is returning to action this coming week.

Rose-Rich will begin league play this week with many of the same rules in place for social distancing during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The league recommends all players, fans, coaches and umpires to wear masks but it is not required.

Rose-Rich requests that fans bring their own chairs and space out along the outfield fence.

The league will sanitize restrooms before each game day and provide hand sanitizer.

Players are not to share equipment and equipment bags will be spread out along the fence.

Bats must be wiped down after each use.

Balls will be cleaned each half inning.

Dugouts will be wiped down before each game and in between games before the next team enters on game days.

Coaches and umpires are to stay six feet away from the players.

There will be no huddles or handshakes between players.

Players will line up on the foul line after the game and say good game to their opponent.

Rose-Rich Girls Softball Association is a member of USA Softball.
