Terry senior quarterback Kellen Stewart takes a snap against Foster

Friday’s night District 10-5A DI contest was a cross-zone game for a playoff spot.

The winner earned a top-four spot while the loser was left on the outside looking in.

Unfortunately, Terry fell into the latter category after a 63-34 loss to Hightower at Hall Stadium Friday.

The Ranger offense was once again lead by senior Kellen Stewart with a 68- long touchdown run.

The Rangers’ signal-caller also connected twice with senior Sergio Simmons-Cox and twice with junior Alphonso Brown for a touchdown each.

Defensively, senior defensive back Freddy Zamarripa hauled in an interception return inside the Hurricane 10-yard line.

The Rangers (5-3, 2-3) will look to rebound against non-district Clear Creek next Thursday.
