Travis junior defensive backs Cameron Oliver joins Cameron Moore with a scholarship offer from the Air Force Academy last week.
Oliver, a 6-foot-1, 160-pounder, had seven interceptions last season for the Tigers, including picking off three passes against Austin in October.
Moore, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, had four interceptions and one fumble recovery last season.
Oliver also has offers from UNLV, New Mexico, ULM, New Mexico State and Fordham.
Moore also received offers from Lamar and Prairie View A&M.
Irish still showing interest in Fatheree
Foster junior offensive lineman Reuben Fatheree II already has offers from several top programs in the country.
So it’s no surprise that another big-time program has offered the 6-foot-8, 305-pound prospect.
Notre Dame is the latest program to reach out to Fatheree, who is rated as the No. 25 best offensive tackle prospect in the nation and the No. 214 overall player in next year’s class, according to Rivals.com.
The Fighting Irish have targeted Fatheree for a while, but it is a question whether a late offer will sway him away from other top programs.
Fatheree already put Notre Dame in his list of his top nine schools. Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, LSU and Texas A&M round out the rest of the list.
But due to the coronavirus pandemic, it may take some time for him to do more official visits, and therefore, push his commitment date back.
According to insiders at 247Sports.com, Texas A&M is the frontrunner to land Fatheree.
Foster’s Smallwood receives offer
Foster junior running back Xavier Smallwood received an offer from North American University, located in Stafford.
NAU completed its first varsity season in football last season. The Stallions are applying to join the NAIA and the Red River Conference.
Smallwood, at 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds, had 45 carries for 213 yards last season for the Falcons, including a 51-yard performance against Terry.
