The Tigers moved to 15-2 on the season with their second win over the Longhorns this season on Friday night.
Senior guard Justin Hill led Travis with a triple-double, scoring 25 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Senior forward Justin Cadette came off the bench and scored 18 points for Travis.
George Ranch (7-10) will face Katy Tompkins next Tuesday, while Travis will be in tournament action beginning on Thursday.
Hightower 81, Lamar Consolidated 52
The Mustangs could not hang with the No. 5 Hurricanes on Friday night in a District 24-5A game, as Hightower outscored Lamar 18-8 in the second quarter to take a 45-22 halftime lead.
Lamar (9-9, 1-2) will be back in action on New Year’s Eve at home against Shadow Creek at 1 p.m.
Foster 84, Fort Bend Marshall 62
The Falcons picked up a road win on Friday to move to 2-0 in District 24-5A play. Foster jumped out to a 26-10 first-quarter lead and took a 47-23 halftime lead.
Sophomore guard Chancellor White led the Falcons with 16 points and six rebounds, while junior forward Reuben Fatheree III had 14 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks.
Senior forward Jack Hardcastle had 13 points and nine rebounds, while junior Jacobi Williams had 11 points and sophomore Sam Hardcastle had 10 points and six rebounds.
Foster (13-3, 2-0) will participate in the Conroe Holiday Classic beginning on Friday.
Shadow Creek 69, Terry 61
The Rangers gave the No. 4 Sharks a game, but ultimately could not pull out the win in a District 24-5A game on Friday.
Terry took an early 20-13 lead, but Shadow Creek outscored the Rangers 14-6 in the second quarter to take a one-point halftime lead.
Terry (6-11, 0-3) will face Willowridge next Tuesday.
Ridge Point 78, Fulshear 70
The Chargers took a 38-34 halftime lead on the road on Friday, but the Panthers rallied with a 20-10 third-quarter run to regain the lead and hold on for the win.
Fulshear (5-11) will face Katy Paetow next Tuesday.
East Bernard goes 1-1 in Industrial tournament
The Brahmas opened their season at a tournament at Industrial High School, beginning with a 54-36 loss to Rockport-Fulton on Friday and a 57-56 win over Cuero on Saturday.

Travis 50, Kempner 45
The Lady Tigers opened District 20-6A play with a road win over the Lady Cougars on Friday.
The win moved Travis to 8-7 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Lady Tigers will face Bush at home next Tuesday at noon.
Hightower 83, Lamar Consolidated 37
The No. 2 Lady Hurricanes were too much for the Lady Mustangs, who fell to 10-9 overall and 2-2 in District 24-5A play.
Lamar will head to Shadow Creek next Tuesday.
Shadow Creek 79, Terry 50
The Lady Sharks jumped out to a 20-6 lead in the first quarter and scored 31 points in the third quarter to get the big win over the Lady Rangers on Friday.
Terry dropped to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in District 24-5A play. The Lady Rangers will next face Willowridge next Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Fulshear 40, El Campo 35
The Chargers get a big win over the No. 14 Lady Birds on Friday for their first win in District 25-4A play.
Fulshear moved to 10-8 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Chargers will be off through the holidays and will face Stafford on Friday, Jan. 3 at 5:45 p.m.
Sealy 41, Needville 39
The Lady Jays fell just short of getting a big District 25-4A opening win on Friday, but the Lady Tigers pulled out the win on Friday.
Needville fell to 3-12 overall and 0-1 in district play. The Lady Jays will be back in action at Wharton on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
Palacios 44, East Bernard 37
The Brahmarettes fell on the road on Friday to the Sharkettes in a District 24-3A matchup.
East Bernard is now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in district play. The Brahmarettes will play in a tournament in Wharton this weekend, beginning with a Friday game against Yoakum at 10:30 a.m.
