The Chargers turned heads early with a win against No. 18 El Campo to open District 25-4A play.

Unfortunately, Fulshear’s winning streak in district ended on Friday at Royal.

The Chargers led 16-8 in the second quarter but a 14-0 run put the Lady Falcons up 22-16 in the fourth quarter.

Fulshear (15-9, 3-1) will next play Sealy at home on Tuesday.

Stafford 61, Needville 48

The Lady Jays were two point off their season-half mark in scoring (50 points against Boling) in Friday’s home loss against Stafford.

Needville (3-16, 0-5) will next host Royal on Friday.

Manvel 42, Foster 21

The short-handed Lady Falcons lost to Manvel on Friday at home.

Foster (16-9, 5-3) will next play at Angleton on Tuesday.

East Bernard 38, Van Vleck 27

The Brahmarettes collected a road victory on Friday at Van Vleck.

East Bernard (7-5, 3-1) will next host Hitchcock on Tuesday.


The Lady Tigers got back over .500 in District 20-6A with a win Friday at Austin.

Travis (10-9, 3-2) will travel to No. 16 Ridge Point on Tuesday.
