George Ranch junior Amillion Fowler had 16 points in Longhorns’ win over Alief Hastings.

George Ranch 82, Alief Hastings 21

The Longhorns remained undefeated in District 23-6A action on Tuesday.

George Ranch led 66-19 after three quarters at home against the Lady Bears.

Senior Jaedyn Dunn and junior Amillion Fowler each scored 16 points.

Sophomore Savannah Velazquez had 12 points.

George Ranch (21-4, 3-0) will host Alief Taylor on Friday.

Manvel 46, Lamar Consolidated 37

The Lady Mustangs kept it close during a road game with Manvel on Tuesday.

Lamar Consolidated matched the Lady Mavericks in the second with both teams scoring 25 points.

But Manvel had built a 12-5 lead after the first quarter.

Lamar Consolidated (11-11, 3-4) will next host Angleton on Friday.

Angleton 54, Terry 30

The Lady Rangers were held to single digits for three of four quarters at Angleton on Tuesday in a loss.

Terry (6-9, 1-7) will next play Lamar Consolidated at home on Tuesday.

Columbia 42, East Bernard 39

The Brahmarettes played up in competition on Tuesday with a road game against 4A Columbia.

East Bernard was able to rally late with 26 points in the second half but a 25-point surge in the fourth quarter by the Lady ’Necks secured the victory.

East Bernard (6-5, 2-1) will return to District 24-3A play on Friday at Van Vleck.

Fayetteville 47, Brazos 38

The Cougarettes lost a home game on Tuesday night to Fayetteville.

Brazos (2-9) will play Yorktown on Friday in District 29-2A action.
