East Bernard junior Braydon Lemo (No. 20) return a kickoff for a touchdown Friday against Tidehaven. 

All three units of the East Bernard High School football team made sure to leave a mark Friday night in Taska Stadium in El Maton.

Braydon Lemos returned a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the Brahmas’ 44-14 win over Tidehaven.

East Bernard improves to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in District 14-3A DII.

The victory secures at least a share of the district crown with a game against Van Vleck remaining. The Leopards improved to 3-1 on Friday night with a 40-14 win over Brazos.

East Bernard can win the outright district title next Friday at home against Van Vleck.

Grant Prazak recorded three successful field goals for the Brahmas from 25, 21 and 25 yards out.

Lemos scored the first touchdown for East Bernard with the kick return.

Andrew Dirba scored the next two with a seven-yard run at the 11-minute mark and a two-yard reception inside the second quarter’s final minute.

Kaleb Marek broke free for a 31-yard touchdown early in the third quarter.

Dirba caught another Dallas Novicke pass for a touchdown in the fourth quarter from nine yards with six minutes left.

Dirba and Niklas Schatz combined for 216 yards rushing on 32 carries. Novicke was 5-of-7 for 45 yards and two touchdowns.
