Haley Etzler is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2019 at Foster High School.
The daughter of Leroy and Diana Etzler, she will attend the University of Texas, participating in the Honors in Advanced Nutritional Sciences (HANS) program. She intends on becoming a Physician Assistant.
While at Foster, Haley was a member of the Principal’s Student Advisory Group, National Honor Society, AP Ambassadors, the varsity softball team, Green Club, and the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Outside of school, Haley was an active member and Vacation Bible School volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served at Gigi’s Playhouse as a Down Syndrome Achievement Center volunteer.
Haley longs to utilize her role as a Physician Assistant to help bring adequate medical care to those in need.
Reflecting on her high school experience, Haley recalls her growth not only as a student, but as an individual, due to the support she received from her teachers and peers. She advises the Class of 2019 to remember that there is no limit to what they can achieve.
