Timothy Paul Strayer

May 27, 1942-May 22, 2019

A lifelong traveler of life’s highways and by- ways—Timothy Paul Strayer died peacefully on May 22, 2019, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky after a courageous battle with kidney disease. The eldest son of the late Robert and Mary Strayer, Tim was born on May 27, 1942 in Toledo Ohio. He was a graduate of Highland high school and attended the University of New Mexico.

In 1958, Tim earned the bumper pool championship of the State of New Mexico, which opened the door to a long and fascinating journey, meeting and befriending many of the countries most colorful characters and high rollers. Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained was his motto and he lived each day accordingly.

A beloved father and brother, Tim had an indomitable romantique spirit, and an easy, affable chivalrous manner… he will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Tim is survived by his brother Mickey Strayer and his daughters, Charlotte Murphy and Penelope Strayer and 2 grandsons.

Deceased’s funeral arrangements: A private family ceremony.
