Ricky L. McInvale

Ricky L. McInvale, 73, of Wallis, Texas passed away on July 20, 2021. He was born on November 25, 1947 in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas to Julious Hoyt McInvale and Alta M. (Satterfield) McInvale. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Ricky was a Special Jobs Supervisor with the Texas Dept. of transportation for many years. He then went on to be a Deputy Sheriff with Fort Bend County. He enjoyed the outdoors – especially hunting. Ricky & Betsy were married for 42 years and together watched as their Blended Family continued to grow. This loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be missed.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Neal Ray Holt, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Betsy and their children, Tammela “Tammy” Sue Milam (husband, Steve), Hank Dostal, Chris Dostal (wife Nedra), Ginny Kramer (husband Darrel), Jason Dostal (wife Lynette), Chuck Dostal (wife Sharon) and Juliann Alvarado (husband Ernest); brother, Reggie McInvale (wife Dawn); special aunt, Lida D. McNeill; special cousin, LaVerne Pickering and Family; 9 nieces & nephews; along with extended family and friends.

Ricky was especially proud to be “Grandpa” to 29 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was awaiting the arrival of 2 more great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
