Richard Francis Galvan Jr

Richard Francis Galvan, Jr., fondly known as “Rick”, 59, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on February 20, 2021. He was born in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois on July 18, 1961 to Richard Galvan, Sr. and Cordelia Costello Galvan. Rick was of Catholic faith. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Rick enjoyed playing pool, going to the gym and spending time with his family, especially his great grandson, Elijah. This loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend will be missed.

In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his niece, Vanessa Guerra and his nephew, Jonathan Gonzales.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lopez; son, Vincent Galvan; stepchildren, Marie Robles, Traci Perez and Steven Robles (wife Latisha); siblings, Vickie Rivera (husband Daniel), Michelle Galvan (husband Michael Cisneros), Mark Galvan (wife Claudia Alanis), and Jessie Galvan Longoria (husband Raul); granddaughter, Khaliliah Galvan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended step family and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The funeral service and military honors will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The funeral home is limited to 50 people at a time and everyone must wear a facial covering.
