Omero S. Garza, Jr.

Omero S. Garza, Jr., fondly known as “Homer”, 61, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on November 8, 2019 in Sugar Land. He was born on March 4, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Homero S. Garza, Sr. and Rosario Vargas Garza. Homer was the ultimate outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with Mother Nature. This loving husband, father, brother and friend will truly be missed.

In addition to his parents, Homer is preceded in death by sisters, Bertha Perez and Yolanda Villarreal.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Diana Hernandez Garza; children, Omero Garza III and Candice Garza; sisters, Irene Garza, Rosie Garza and Blanca Espitia; along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held begin at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

A memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
