Maria Carmen Baladez

Carmen Baladez was born May 18, 1926 in Beeville Texas. Her parents are Francisco and Francisca (Witron) Sanchez. Carmen was the youngest of eight children Julio Sanchez, Refugia S.Loya, Francisca Loya, Elvia S. Loya, Daniel Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez and EloĆ­sa S Ruiz.

She met her one and only Monses G.Baladez. When she was 16 years old. They married in 1942 and enjoyed many years together. Carmen and Monses started a family in 1959. With the arrival of Guadalupe Moises (Junior)was born March 13, 1959. Shortly after in 1962 was when their daughter Mary Jane was born. Monses passed in September 8,1990.

She was blessed with 10 grandchildren; Joseph Baladez, Jonathan Baladez, Jason Baladez, Pamela Baladez, Ashton Cadengo, Bradlee Baladez, Carlee Baladez , Stephen Payne, Travis Payne, Tristen Rodriguez. Carmen was also blessed with 20 great grandchildren.

Her profound faith and her love for God kept her strong. She was loved by many. Our matriarch will be dearly missed. While small in stature enormous in heart! Carmen loved her family with her heart and soul. Her house was always open to visitors. It was always cozy with good conversation in Pan Dulce con cafe (sweet bread with Coffee). She will be missed more than words can express. God has now called his daughter home. She will now watch over all of us from heaven.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City, Texas.

Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
