Margaret Wagner ( September 27, 1928 – September 14, 2020)
Margaret was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on September 27, 1928 to Bernard and Josephine Abeln.
She was raised in Salisbury, Missouri where she attended school until the mid 1940’s.
She married soon thereafter and gave birth to her first of two children in September 1948 and her second was born March 1958.
She was a mother who was there in every sense of the word for her two children.
She never met a stranger and over her lifetime established many long-lasting relationships.
The majority of her life was spent as a medical caregiver, although, upon retirement, she enjoyed volunteering in various capacities and spending quality time with family.
Margaret enjoyed life to its fullest, always had a smile on her face, a positive spirit, she was a dedicated Christian, and provided encouraging words to everyone she encountered.
Surviving Margaret is her youngest daughter, Joella Barnett (Tory), one sister, Helen Taylor, four grandchildren, Tina Blockhus, Raymond Magruder, David Utterback, Alicia Utterback, nine great grandchildren, Alexis Magruder, Branden Magruder, Tikki Padilla, Colleen Blockhus, Brandon Utterback, Shawn Utterback, Charlie Utterback, Raven Still, April Still, one great-great grandson, Cooper Padilla, son-in-law, David Blockhus, daughter-in-law, Diane Magruder and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands (Eugene Tory & Clarence Wagner), her daughter, Cheryl Spear (Tory), her siblings, Eugene Abeln, Benny Abeln, Herman Abeln, Bernadine Abeln, Lucille Emmerich, Mary Murtha, and Clara Mae Yung.
Funeral Services to be held at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel located at 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. Rosenberg, TX, 77471 on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Visitation to take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
