Margaret Virginia (Eddins) Edmonson, 85, of Sugar Land, Texas, was called home to Heaven on June 9, 2020 with her family at her bedside. She was born on February 17, 1935 in Pensacola, FL to Clarence Hilbert and Katie Gay Eddins.
Her family has found comfort in the knowledge that she was taken into Heaven by her Lord and Savior and also welcomed with open arms by the love of her life and husband of 36 years, TJ alongside their children Rita Gail and Tommy.
Additionally, she is preceded in death by all of her siblings, Buddy, Bobby and Betty Jo. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Ann and Mike Velasco, and son, Robert Barry Edmonson; her grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Brian, Phillip, Shayla, Michelle, and Nicole; great grandchildren, Tommy, Kelli, Alex, JoAnn, Sara Rose, Elizabeth B., Elizabeth D., Dawson, Devon, Hunter, Nicholas, Johnny, Silas, Hudson, Christabella, Ava, Lorelei, Aubrianah, Zaeli, Leigha, Levi and Jayden; great-great grandchildren, Harmony, Bianca, Bryce, Brianna, Kenzie and Ellena; as well as many nephews and nieces, and their children, each and everyone having special memories and individual bonds with her.
She was many things to many people since childhood. She was a sister and caretaker to her siblings, having grown up far too early in life, and at 16 she became a devoted and loving wife and then a strong, supportive, and proud mother.
She was also a loyal and sincere friend, an accomplished seamstress, a skilled and award-winning bowler; and later in life, a talented self-taught florist. She weathered most storms in life unwavering composure and stayed calm and collected thru life’s ups and downs.
She was selfless, always putting the needs of others in front of her own. She was strong and steady, yet loving and gentle. She believed in accountability, and expected it of others; yet she was extremely tolerant. She could and did overlook most any short coming to find the good in people. She will be loved, cherished and missed every day.
