Margaret Lloyd Bingham, 81, Master Gardener Deluxe, passed away January 20, 2020. She was born November 16, 1938, in England.

Margaret’s passion was gardening. One of her favorite things was to grow flowers to attract beautiful butterflies which she enjoyed watching. As she traveled throughout the world via various Armed Service transfers, at each new home her first endeavor was to establish a new garden which was very challenging as the family moved often. After her first husband passed away, she settled in Montgomery County to be near her children, where she joined the Texas A&M Master Garden program. During her career she earned 9 Master Garden Certifications in various specialties.

Margaret and her husband Bill Bingham, married for nearly 20 years, loved to travel throughout the world. Margaret and Bill are long time members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, and currently reside in Richmond, Texas.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Bill Bingham; children, David Lloyd, Deborah Lloyd, and Robert Lloyd; and granddaughter, Megan Lloyd. Margaret is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lloyd, and by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Morton Cemetery Pavilion in Richmond, Texas 77469.
