Margaret Hedden

Margaret Hedden, 74, of Rosenberg, TX., was born on April 10, 1946, and peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on June 8, 2020.

She worked at Lamar CISD Material Center from 1964-1980. In 1981 she pursued her interest in a career in law enforcement with the Rosenberg Police Department. First as a patrol officer, then in 1993 she was promoted to Lieutenant of CID. After retiring in 2006 with 25 years of service to the Rosenberg Police Department and the citizens of her home town, Mrs. Hedden served as a case worker with Child Protective Services for one year.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Hedden; loving son, David Carlos de Luna; parents, Esteban and Ascencion Martinez; brother, Richard Martinez; and sister, Herminia Cardona.

She leaves behind her daughters, Esperanza de Luna Namken and husband James; Christi Villasenor and husband Felipe; grandchildren; Brandon Hedden; and Cindy Hedden; sisters, Aurora Amason; Irene Martinez and husband Fidel Rodriguez; many dear & treasured friends among them Penny Henson; Vicky Moore; Olga Cantu; and Linda Winchester; and many beloved family members and friends in Texas and Kansas.

A private interment will be scheduled for a later date.
