Ludvik Edward Okruhlik, Jr.

Ludvik Edward Okruhlik, Jr., fondly known as “Lou”, passed away on June 2, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 10, 1942 in Molton,Texas to Ludvik Bernard Okruhlik and Viola Kubos.

Lou retired from TXDOT after 43 years of employment. He enjoyed researching various topics and sharing his knowledge with others. This loving brother, uncle and friend will truly be missed.

In addition to his parents, Lou is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Okruhlik; and his brother, E.J. Okruhlik.

Survivors include his sister Anna Stepanek; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services are going to be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 S. 4th Street in Richmond on Monday, June 7, 2021. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by rosary at 10:00 a.m. and funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Father William D. Bartniski to officiate services. The burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will include: Brad Hines, Arnold Stepanek, Jim Hunt, Tommy Tucker, Darell Lindemann, Joe Mendoza, Trent Kubena, Martin Barrientos.
