Kimberly Marie LaClaire, 53, from Rosenberg, TX, was called home by Our Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

She was born December 27, 1966, the daughter to Mary Ann Andrews and Frank Carranza.

We all knew her as “Kimmi”. She was a loving and compassionate person who inspired so many with her fighting spirt and zest for life. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She loved to cook for everyone, read and watch football; particularly her Golden Boy #12, but most of all, spend time with her family; especially with all her nieces and nephews. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into the kids’ faces, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. She may not have been able to have children of her own, but she was “mother” to many. And if you truly knew Kimmi, you know her life was not complete without her beloved cats.

Kimberly is preceded in life by her brother, Ronnie, and leaves behind her mother, Mary Ann Andrews, father, Frank Carranza, siblings, Laura Waters (Richard), Eddie Carranza (Janet), Jesse Carranza (Tammy), Sherry Parker (Chuck), Andy Carranza (Ashley), Stacy Mikolas (David), Elaine Carranza, Kathy Poncik (Robert), Michelle Carranza, Anitra Ondrush (Chip) and many, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

When you think of Kimmi, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Private services held Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George St., Rosenberg, TX 77471.
