Kennon Wayne Holmes

Kennon Wayne Holmes, 39, of Richmond, Texas passed away on January 10, 2020 at M.D. Anderson Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1980 in Houston, Texas to Carl Wayne and Vonda Jan Holmes. Kennon has a passion for helping and feeding those less fortunate. He supported under privileged school aged children in the Philippines and his dream and goal was to one day move back to the Philippines and operate a food truck (taco wagon) that went out in the remote areas to feed people in need. Kennon will truly be missed by all who loved him.

Kennon is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl Luvine & Mary Ann Holmes.

Survivors include his wife, Marygrace Holmes; mother, Vonda Jan Holmes; father, Carl Wayne Holmes; step-mother, Debbie Holmes; maternal grandparents, Loyce Beckendorff Reese and husband, Charles and Roy Doss and wife, Darla Doss; siblings, Garrett Holmes and wife, Olivia, and Kesley Humphrey and husband, D’Robert Humphrey Sr.; Nephews, Alonzo Allen, JaColby Holmes, D’Robert Humphrey Jr.; and Niece, Aarica Holmes.

Kennon is also survived by Marygrace’s Family: Father and Mother-In-Law, Pablo and Teresita Sacil; brothers-in-law, Alcher, Melcher, Alvin, Arman and Ariel Sacil; nephews, Kenon Sacil, Kevin Sacil, JM Sacil, Gab Sacil, Cade Sacil, Koe Sacil and Dru Sacil; and Nieces Abigail Sacil, Allianna Sacil and Dia Sacil.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
