Juan (Johnny) M. Rodriguez Jr

Juan (Johnny) M. Rodriguez Jr, 72 of passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with colon cancer on June 15, 2020 in Richmond TX. He was born October 24, 1947 in Rosenberg to Juan (Chino) M Rodriguez and Elizabeth Skopik Rodriguez. He served our country in the US Army in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969 and was honorably discharged.

In addition to his parents, Johnny is preceded in death by sister Beatrice Rios, brother Frank Rodriguez & brother in law Johnny Torres.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Janie Llamas Rodriguez of Richmond; son Edward Lee Rodriguez of Richmond, daughters Amy Joanne Rodriguez of Pearland and Elizabeth Linda Hernandez (husband Hector) of Richmond; Grandchildren, Edward Lee Rodriguez II, Olivia Faith Rodriguez and Mia Renee Hernandez; Sisters, Ruby Shipley from Key West, Florida, Bernice Torres & Benita Silvas from Stafford; brothers Carlos Calvin Rodriguez (wife Angie) from Houston and Joe Gutowsky from Richmond; sister in law Teresa Rodriguez from Richmond.

He is also survived by Aunt Lillian Kaiser, Theodore, Alabama and numerous neices, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
