Guadalupe G. Ramirez

Guadalupe G. Ramirez, fondly known as “Lupe”, passed away on September 10, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1926 in Mackay, Texas. She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond. Lupe’s hobbies included listening to music, sewing, crocheting, cooking and of course, she loved shopping – her “Retail Therapy”. Lupe will truly be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Braulio Garcia & Francisca Rios; husband, Guadalupe G. Ramirez; sons, Rudy and Arthur Ramirez; siblings, Monserrato, Daniel, Roberto, and Fidel Garcia, Gregoria Bocanegra and Josefa Garza; and grandson, Juanito Ramirez.

Survivors include daughter, Guadalupe Alvarez and husband Vicente; son,Pete Ramirez; brother, Santos Garcia; grandchildren, Laeticia Pena and husband, Jason, Esperanza “Hopie” Bethancourt and husband, Erik, Sonya Hernandez and husband, Efrain, Kimberly Osborn and husband, Tim, Isabel Ramirez, Nicole Ramirez Ybarbo and Sydney Ramirez; along with numerous great grandchildren and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
