Gary Alred

Gary Steven Allred, 66, from Richmond, TX, lost his heroic battle with cancer on November 17, 2020.

He was born January 18,1954, in Fort Worth, TX, the son of Leeman and Rose M. Allred.

Gary married his bride of 46 years, Cynthia (Cindy) Benton Allred, in 1974. Together they had two children, Brett Steven Allred and Bryan Benton Allred. During his life Gary had many accomplishments both professionally and personally. In 1985, Gary established Rosenberg Tractor. This was his true passion in life. His knowledge and customer service, which often started with a handshake, drove business from all over the region, which established an extended family for over 30 years. Customers and friends alike knew that if Gary shook your hand and told you something it could be taken as the truth. He was a man of deep-seated integrity and honesty. Gary was committed to serving his community. He helped spearhead the Fort Bend Regional Vegetable Conference and worked side by side with the Ag Extension.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Leeman Allred.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy B. Allred; two sons, Brett S. Allred, his wife, Andrea, their two boys Silas Steven and Weston Douglas, and Bryan B. Allred, his wife, Kathrine, and their three children Nolan Benton, Kassidy Morgan, and Kambria Rose. He is also survived by his mother, Rose M. Allred, his sister Karen L. Campell and husband Alton, and his sister-in-law, Brenda Pullen, and husband Larry. He has 3 nieces, one nephew, and many extended family members.

A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. A Graveside Service will follow at Davis Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

The family is very grateful for all the love and support during his battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Fort Bend County 4H Program, c/o Damion Turner, 1402 Band Rd, Ste. 100, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
