Elva Ann Carrillo

Funeral services for Elva Ann Carrillo, 70, of Rosenberg will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

She was born on June 13, 1950 in Wharton, TX. to Secundino and Yrenia Ballejo Alameda and she passed away on July 23, 2020. Elva was immensely proud of her family and leaves nothing but beautiful memories. Her heart of gold and tenacious spirit allowed her 27 years as a social worker with the Texas Department of Human Services, where she retired from and enjoyed her retirement as she was able to travel and make beautiful memories with her family. Elva’s legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Secundino Alameda and Yrenia Ballejo Alameda; sisters, Mary Cruz, Alecia Garcia, Eva Trevino, Ofelia Alameda, Rebecca Tristan, Rachel Alameda and late husband, Albert Carrillo Sr.

Elva is survived by her partner, Frank Rebeles; children, Angela Rebeles-Hernandez and husband Louis, Priscilla Carrillo, Anthony Carrillo; grandchildren, which she took great pride, Gregory Banda Jr., Joshua Cruz, Alexis Banda, Trine Vargas III, Ryan Aguilar, Abby Rios, Louis Hernandez III, Grace Hernandez, six great grandchildren; siblings, Francis Martin and husband Jim, Secundino Alameda and wife Dominga.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Cruz, Trine Vargas, Ryan Aguilar, Gregory Banda Jr., Anthony Rebeles and Mariano Ortiz.

Due to Covid-19 and only 50 people at a time are allowed to attend the visitation and services and mask are required.
