Dixie J. Holt

Dixie J. Holt went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 23, 2019 surrounded by family and close friends.

Dixie was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Betty and Richard “Dick” Parrish, Sr. Dixie spent her formative years in Hobbs, New Mexico where she was active in cheerleading, band, square dancing and Sub Debs.

In later years Dixie became a world traveler while living in Cairo, Egypt. She had many interests including teaching CCE and VBS for 20 years, volunteering at FBISD schools, crafting, cooking, organizing annual Sister Weekends, gambling, jewelry making and assisting with scouts.

Dixie is survived by her loving son Charlie, family and many friends.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond Texas.
