Concepcion Gonzales

Funeral services for Concepcion Gonzales, 87, of Richmond will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church with interment following at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Rosenberg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

She was born on December 8, 1932 to Jesus Salazar and Anita Arredondo Salazar and she passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020 in Richmond, TX. surrounded by her loving children. Concepcion was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed. She was the true matriarch to her family and any that knew her. Concepcion was a mother of ten children who always provided support and love for her family. She would proudly boost to anyone about her children. She was a long life faithful parishioner of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and was very devoted to her faith and instilled it in her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Salazar and Anita Arredondo Salazar; husband, Olivero Gonzales; sons, Ramon Gonzales and Louis Gonzales; daughter, Gracy Gonzales; grandchildren, Ramon Gonzales Jr., Patrick Gonzales, Alvin Cantu, Josephine Gonzales and brother, Jesus Salazar Jr.

Concepcion is survived by her children, Oralia Jamie Santa Cruz and husband Joe, Erma Compean, Anita Rebecca Christopoulos and husband George, Manuela Cantu, Greg Gonzales, Joe Gonzales, Jessie Gonzales and wife Lisa; sisters, Yolanda Ayala and Vocha Salazar, 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 only 50 people at a time are allowed to attend the visitation at the funeral home and ticket required for church service and mask are required.
