Blanca Alicia Vasquez

Funeral services for Blanca Alicia Vasquez, 35, of East Bernard will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with interment following at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

She was born on August 12, 1986 in Galveston, TX. and she passed away on October 16, 2021 in East Bernard, TX. Blanca was married to John Vasquez, for 17 years, graduated from B.F Terry High School in 2004. She attended WCJC and received her Associate of Applied Science degree in 2017. Blanca was the “Queen of the Fiestas Patrias 2003.” Blanca was very well known in the community of East Bernard, she and her husband enjoyed horseshoeing in local ranches within Wharton and Fort Bend County; Blanca was also an employee at Fort Bend County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Vasquez Jr. and paternal grandfather, Adonaldo “Naldo” Gutierrez.

Blanca is survived by her children, James Eli Gutierrez, Amie Rae Vasquez, Victor Reynaldo Vasquez; parents, Reynaldo and Lucy Gutierrez; brothers, Simon Gutierrez and wife Dolores, Julio Gutierrez and fiancé Leticia Ramirez; nephews, Simon Gutierrez Jr. and William Rey Gutierrez; nieces, Jasmine Gutierrez, Jayla Gutierrez, Jinger Gutierrez; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francisco L. Silvas Sr. and paternal grandmother, Guadalupe Marie Gutierrez. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends.
