All three Needville School Board incumbents have drawn opponents for the May 1 General Election.

Jimmie Kocian, who serves as Position 3 trustee, is being challenged by Chase Raska.

Kocian is a contractor and owner of a remodeling business, and Raska is a construction manager.

Position 4 Trustee Glenn Vecera will face Mayra Bontemps in the election.

Vecera is store manager of a farm equipment company and Bontemps is in real estate.

Incumbent Tim Sbrusch is being challenged for Position 5 by Daniel Meek.

Sbrusch is retired and Meek is an HVAC technician.

Early voting takes place April 19-27, with Needville ISD voters able to cast their ballots at any polling location throughout the county, including the Fort Bend County Road and Bridge facility at 3743 School St. in Needville.

Early voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19-24 and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 26 and 27.

Polling places are closed Sunday, April 25.

On Election Day, Needville ISD voters may cast their ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fort Bend Road and Bridge location only.
