Fort Bend County still has about $9 million in its resiliency grant program to give away to struggling businesses.

More than $29 million of the $38 million allocated toward the project has been awarded.

Two hundred businesses have already received checks totaling $2.3 million. Checks to the other qualified businesses are going out shortly, Fort Bend County Judge KP George said.

Qualified businesses can receive grants of $10,000 to $25,000 to small businesses.
