City of Richmond to spray for mosquitoes

The city of Richmond will be spraying for mosquitoes inside the city limits on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 4, followed by a second spraying on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 10. Remember, rain provides for standing water which allows a place for mosquitoes to breed. Everyone needs to do their part to keep mosquitoes from breeding. Residents are asked to remove any standing water around the outside of their homes and property. Check property for stagnant water: pools, bird baths, broken flower pots, clogged gutters, old tires and toys.
