The Fort Bend County commissioners courts meetings will be live-streamed on the internet, County Judge KP George announced. George said all work sessions and official activities of commissioner’s court, including special meetings and workshops, will be viewable via computer, laptop, tablet or cell phone in the future. The public can access the live-stream video on rgw Fort Bend County’s web page.

An archive of live-streamed meetings can also be found on the same web page. The commissioners court typically meets on the first, second, and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the historic courthouse, 401 Jackson St. in Richmond.

“For the first time in history and in line with my vision for transparency in government, I am proud to live stream all official meetings and deliberations of Commissioners Court,” George said. “Every resident regardless of location deserves the ability to see their County government at work and stay informed.”
