Fort Bend’s got talent

George Ranch High School sophomore Lanae Patsy Buie, 15, of Rosenberg, earned a first-place prize in the 2019 Fort Bend County Fair Talent Show last weekend for her performance of “Big Time.” She competed in the senior division.

Needville High School sophomore Hayden Fisher, 16, finished second in the senior division with his guitar instrumental of AC-DC’s “Back in Black.”

Third-place finisher in the senior division was Foster High School freshman Hannah Bronsell, 14, who performed David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” on the ukulele.

Winning top honors in the junior division were Common Wealth Elementary School student Presley Patterson, 10, of Sugar Land, first; Neill Elementary School second-grader Belle Bryant, 8, second; and Holy Rosary Catholic School fourth-grader Isabella Jilek, 9, third. Intermediate division winners were Sartartia Middle School student Ashuni Kale, 13; first; Polly Ryon Middle School sixth-grader Sarah Pizzitola, 11, second; and Fort Settlement Middle School student Anne Chen, 12, third. Elementary division winners were Zoey Ryals, 5, first; Sophia Son, 4, second; and Jordan Chen, 4, third.
