Sugar Land police are looking for a man seen on video that they believe was involved in a shooting in Greatwood on Nov. 21.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7000 block of Hearthside Drive at 10:14 p.m. While approaching the location, an officer witnessed several gunshots fired at a grey Nissan Altima and two men in hoodies running away from the vehicle.

The driver of the Nissan Altima attempted to drive away and was stopped nearby in the 1400 block of Briarbend Drive.

The driver and his passenger were both transported to Memorial Hermann Medical Center with gunshot wounds. Both survived and were later interviewed by police but were uncooperative. A large amount of marijuana was located inside their vehicle, police said.

The men are 18- and 19-year-old Richmond residents who have no known connections to the Greatwood subdivision.

A perimeter was set up in Greatwood, and the area was searched for several hours, but the shooters were not located.

Detectives later obtained video from Buc-ee’s, 1243 Crabb River Road, where one of the shooting suspects is believed to have been picked-up, possibly by an Uber driver.

The suspect is a black male who was wearing a red hoodie, a dark denim jacket and blue jeans.

He had an afro that was pulled back in a man-bun.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
