The Richmond Police Department is now accepting applications for Class No. 27 of the Richmond Citizen’s Police Academy.

The purpose of the Citizen’s Police Academy is to provide citizens with a better understanding of the operations of the Richmond Police Department.

The classes will begin on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Richmond Police Department, 600 Preston St. Class hours are from 6:30-9 p.m. Classes will be held every Thursday for 10 sessions. The only cost for this opportunity is time and dedication.

“We will make the classes both informative and entertaining,” said Lt. Lowell Neinast.
