Needville Country Christmas seeks sponsors

Needville’s 23rd Annual Country Christmas will be held Friday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.

The Needville Area Chamber of Commerce, Needville Economic Development Corp, the City of Needville and many local businesses welcome you to come out and enjoy all the free activities in and around the Needville City Hall parking lot.

Entertainment on the stage at City Hall throughout the night includes Jana’s School of Dance, Needville High School Band, Twirlers from “Wild about Twirling,” The Needville High School Sapphires, A Special Place Learning Center Christmas Program, and nd much more.

Christmas Tree Lighting at City Hall will happen at dark.

Many vendors and businesses will be set up in the parking lot for you to shop and eat. Needville Elementary School Coloring Contest winners will be on display in City Hall lobby.

A fun “Treasure Hunt” for the kids and Gift Certificates from local merchants for the adults. Make sure you visit all the businesses for a better chance to win. Catch a ride around town on a Horse drawn wagon, then the kids can jump on and ride the children’s train ride around the City Hall parking lot.

Head on over to the Needville Fire Station to see Santa and take a ride on a Fire Truck. Neal’s Photography will be taking your “Photos with Santa”. Once done there head on over to School Street and enjoy the snow, thanks to Re/Max Opportunities.

Make sure you don’t miss “The Famous Chicken Poop Bingo” which is back by popular demand.

New this year, we are excited to announce, the 50/50 Raffle benefiting the “Needville Police Department Blue Santa Toy Drive”.

Drop off locations for new unwrapped toys include Morton Brothers Western Power and Hardware, Dr. Wayne Ley’s office, Bayou Boys Po-Boys restaurant, A Wild Hair Salon, Needville City Hall, and Needville Police Department. The Country Christmas committee’s goal is to promote our local area businesses and it is our hope you come out and support all of our participants.
