Three Rosenberg residents have formally announced plans to run for city council this spring.

District seats 1-4 are up for election Saturday, May 2. Wednesday was the first day to file. Filing ends on Feb. 14. Candidates may file at Rosenberg City Hall, 2110 Fourth St., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Filing for District 1 were incumbent Isaac Davila and newcomer Keith Parker. Filing for District 2 is incumbent Steve DeGregorio.

Early voting begins April 20 and ends April 28. A run-off election, if needed, will be held June 6.
