Fort Bend County Libraries’ George Memorial Library, 1001 Golfview in Richmond, presents a variety of free children’s programs – Toddler Time, Story Time, Pajama Night Story Time and School-Age Programs -- every month. These programs are free and open to the public. The special summer schedule for June is as follows:

Toddler Time -- Thursdays at 10 a.m. -- offers caregiver/child activities, stories and songs for older babies, from 12 to 36 months of age. Program dates are June 6, 13, 20 and 27.

Pre-school children, 3 to 6 years of age, will enjoy Story Time, where they hear stories, watch movies and participate in age-appropriate craft activities, beginning at 10 a.m. each Wednesday, in the Meeting Room. Program dates are June 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Pajama Night Story Time -- which takes place every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. -- gives families an evening option for some activities presented during the day time. Program dates are June 6, 13, 20 and 27.

Family Story Time takes place every Saturday at 10 a.m., in the Meeting Room. Families with children of all ages are invited to come and enjoy stories, movies and crafts together. Program dates are June 15, 22 and 29; Family Story Time will NOT take place on June 1 or 8.

The School-Age Programs -- crafts, movies, stories and more for school-aged children in grades K through 3 -- takes place every Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m., in the Meeting Room. The June schedule is as follows:

June 4 – Andyroo & the Andyrooniverse

June 11 – Crocodile Encounter

June 18 – The Magical World of Bubbles

June 25 – Aliens, Astronauts & Space Stuff

The Middle-School Programs, which are designed for youth in grades 6 through 8, take place on Thursdays, beginning at 2 p.m., in the Meeting Room. The June schedule is as follows:

June 6 – Cupcake Decorating

June 13 – Ghost Stories (presented by Stories & More)

June 20 – Life of an Astronaut

June 27 – Pom-Pom Rugs

Middle School Computer Classes – Wednesdays, beginning at 2 p.m., in the Computer Lab, for students in grades 6 through 8.
