Hermann Sons collecting for food pantry

Members of the Rosenberg Richmond Hermann Sons Life Lodge 85 will meet on Monday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Rosenberg Civic Center.

Turkey and dressing will be served. Dessert furnished.

Holiday Market set for Dec. 14

Boy Scout Troop 801 will host a holiday market fundraiser on Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2007 Kay Cee Drive in Rosenberg. Unique gifts, holiday decor, homemade gifts and more will be sold.

Travis Belles to host Holiday Market fundraiser

The Travis High School Belles Dance Team will host its annual Holiday Market fundraiser on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m. at the Travis High School cafeteria, 11111 Harlem Road. Entry is free.

More than 30 vendors will have goods for sale.

The Travis Dance Holiday Concert takes place at 7 p.m.

Polka Christmas concert

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1208 Fifth St., Rosenberg, will host its annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. The concert will feature Mario Padrone and Ed Karisch on accordian, and Milton Wright on keyboard and others. The concert is free and the public is invited to attend.

Miracle on Morton Street

The Historic Richmond Association will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Community Christmas Walk from 6-8 p.m. in downtown historic Richmond on Friday, Dec. 7. The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. at city hall. Movie on Morton Street is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The community Christmas walk is planned for 6-8 p.m. Activities include caroling, gingerbread house contest. It’s all free to the public.

Pet pictures with Santa

Save Our Companion Animals-Fort Bend County will be partnering with Petco, 23710 Commercial Drive in Rosenberg, on Dec. 7, 14 and 15 for pet photos with Santa. Christmas concerts

The Rosenberg Symphony Band is planning to host two Christmas concerts in December. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the band will perform at the Vogelsang Building on Avenue G, in Historic Downtown Rosenberg at 7 p.m. The second concert is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 15, at 5 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church, 806 Thompson Road in Richmond. The concerts are free of charge and open to the public.
