Foster band heads to state

The Foster High School marching band earned a second-place trophy at the UIL Area marching competition on Saturday at Legacy Stadium in Katy and will compete at the state marching contest on Monday in San Antonio. The Falcons’ musicians earned a “1” at the University Interscholastic League district competition on Oct 22 to advance to the regional contest. A “1” at district is the highest mark awarded. Foster is the only Lamar Consolidated ISD band to advance to state.
