The Ride to Rosenberg Car Show drew hundreds of visitors from around the region to Historic Downtown Rosenberg on Saturday. Throngs of visitors checked out the vintage automobiles, hot rods, classic vehicles and new muscle cars right off the show floor. Live music, shopping and perfect weather made the event a great success. Ray Lindemann of Beasley was one of the judges. He said he was pleased with the large turnout among competitors and excited about the level of competition — there being so many fine automobiles to judge. “We had so many people wanting to compete that we had to cut off the competition at the first 150 vehicles, he said. Competitors’ vehicles lined both sides of Third Street and part of two side streets. The Rosenberg PD also took the opportunity to show off its deep water rescue vehicle.
