A local biking event in Fulshear continues to grow and capture the interest of many.
Bike riding is popular in Fulshear — many bikers train in the area just about every weekend so seeing lines of bikers making their way through the city and onto neighboring areas isn’t uncommon — but less than a week ago, it was the site for the 3rd Annual Bike for Mike Memorial Bike Ride, a bike ride that raised funds that will be used to benefit Fulshear.
Bike for Mike started three years ago to honor the late Michael McCann, a longtime Fulshear resident and an avid bike rider who worked on the city’s planning commission, and was one of the first to push for efforts to beautify Fulshear.
