Newest Holy Rosary Altar and Rosary Society Officers

Officers of the Holy Rosary Altar and Rosary Society were installed by Deacon Jason Sulak Thursday at the Parish Hall in Rosenberg. Installed were President Beverly Torres-Villareal, Vice President Mary Ondrush, Recording Secretary Dorothea Few and Treasurer Charlotte Carlson. The Altar Society is the oldest women’s organization of Holy Rosary Parish. It was founded in 1915 with Mary Vogelsang as president. All women of the parish are members and help clean the sanctuary on a weekly basis. The membership also provides linens, flowers, candles and other necessities for services. The society hosts special parish receptions and holds three food drives for Catholic Charities during the year. Pictured are, from left, Sulak, Torres-Villareal, Ondrush, Faw and Carlson.
