Fort Bend County Master Gardeners will hold their popular fruit tree and citrus tree sale fundraiser from 9-noon on Saturday, Feb. 11, in Barn H at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, 4310 SH 36 South in Rosenberg.

This year there will be an estimated 75 different varieties of fruit trees, berries and topicals/sub-tropicals for sale with approximately 1,000 different plants available.

Fort Bend Master Gardeners will be available at the sale to answer questions so buyers can obtain the best information about how to plant and care for new trees or plants.

Sales proceeds support The Fort Bend County Master Gardeners, Inc., a non-profit organization whose purpose is to disseminate research-backed horticulture advice to residents of Fort Bend County, in support of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

All citrus trees available at the Fort Bend Master Gardener Fruit Tree Sale are certified to be disease free.

The Master Gardeners will provide a limited number of wagons to assist shoppers in transporting the plants; however, shoppers are permitted to bring their own hand-drawn wagon.

Past sales saw long lines before doors opened and most of the more popular plants were snapped up within an hour.
