November 14, 1999, Pleak Fire Department lost member Bert Bruecher while he was responding in the tanker to a mutual aid. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten.

Happy 23rd birthday to Pleak Fire Fighter Anthony Svatek! Anthony’s birthday was November 12. We hope you have a great day!

The cold weather is coming soon (I hope), and the holiday season is fast approaching. Things will be different this year but there will always a family in need, find donations centers and take clothing, blankets, toys. Adopt a family who is in need of a Thanksgiving dinner. The way the world is turning upside down these days and so much hate and negativity, we need a little more kindness, love and happiness.

Doing something exciting for Thanksgiving? Send me information and Ill be happy to share it.

Don’t forget, Pleak City Halls has many openings for rentals during the month of December. Give them a call and get your event booked!!

I look forward to hearing from you and sharing stories of your plans for the winter plans, your children’s school accomplishments OR good news from your neighborhood or your church. You can call me at 281-703-9939, or send me an email to mlgoates@gmail.com or message me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/marsha.goates any news that you would like to share.
