The Fort Bend Seniors Board of Directors announced Manuela Arroyos’ departure as executive director and CEO of Fort Bend Seniors, effective June 25.
Since 1999, Manuela has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization, and both she and her leadership will be missed.
The board and staff are grateful for her 20 years of dedication to the organization and to the seniors served by FBS’ programs and mission.
“Over the coming months, we will be conducting a search to find the new executive director,” said Ray Aguilar, board chairman. “The Fort Bend Seniors Board will be posting the job announcement soon and asks for the community’s support in identifying candidates who can help Fort Bend Seniors continue its history of success in serving older adults throughout our community.”
The executive team of Fort Bend Seniors have been appointed to lead the organization and ensure programs and operations continue to run smoothly until an interim CEO is identified, with oversight and input from the board of directors as needed.
The team includes Liz Toomey, CFO; Leah Ghobrial, MPH, director of development and public relations; Rick Branek, volunteer and outreach manager.
Together the team has a history of nearly 19 years serving the organization.
The public is encouraged to direct any questions during this transition to Leah Ghobrial at 281-633-7057 or email@example.com.
