Needville ISD holds 2022-23 convocation
Chris Janicek, Needville ISD School Board president, addressed Needville ISD staff members at last week’s convocation, thanking them for always giving their best for the district’s students. Janicek and his fellow trustees wore sunglasses and carried large umbrellas to reinforce their commitment to stand behind NISD’s teachers, rain or shine.

The power of positivity and the importance of fun were just two of the subjects addressed by popular speaker and author Tony Brigmon at Needville ISD’s convocation last week. He had the audience laughing while learning from his vast experience as Southwest Airlines’ Ambassador of Fun.
The issue of safety was addressed by Needville ISD Police Chief Craigan Colunga at last week’s convocation. Colunga assured staff members the safety of every person – students, staff, and visitors — in each NISD facility is his well-trained staff’s top priority.
