NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids in duplicate, addressed to Fulshear MUD No. 1, Attention Mr. Brooks Tueting, President, Board of Directors, will be received at the office of Costello, Inc., 2107 CityWest Blvd., 3rd Floor, Houston, Texas 77042, until 1:30 p.m. Local Time, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, and then publicly opened and read via teleconference for “Construction of Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek Section 6, Phase 1a (Water, Sewer, and Drainage Improvements), Serving Fulshear MUD No. 1, Fort Bend County, City of Fulshear, Texas”

Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Water, Sewer, and Drainage Improvements

Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held via teleconference only on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Local Time. All bidders wishing to attend the pre-bid conference and bid opening must do so by telephone only by calling 346-235-0346 and use the Conference ID: 467 123 506#. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor.

Copies of bidding documents may be obtained from the CivCastUSA website [www.CivCastUSA.com: search Construction of Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek Section 6, Phase 1a (Water, Sewer, and Drainage Improvements)]. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications, plans, soils report, and environmental reports for this project. There is NO charge to view or download documents.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
