Salata opens in Rosenberg

Guests at the grand opening enjoyed a build-your-own succulent bar with Hayley Lindsey, owner of Cajun Cacti.

Rosenberg now has another healthy dining destination.

Salata celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Rosenberg yesterday at Brazos Town Center II.

This is the first Salata in Greater Houston to feature Salata’s new restaurant design, which is intended to deliver an enhanced guest dining experience.

The new Salata offers guests fully customizable, built-to-order salads and wraps, soups, organic teas and lemonades.

All fruits, vegetables and lean proteins are chopped daily in-house.

With five salad bases, more than 50 toppings and 10 house-made, gluten-free dressings, guests can create meals without restrictions to meet their own definitions of healthy.

Some of the features of the Rosenberg Salata include:

• A 2,700-square-foot restaurant with seating for 112, including patio space

• Dining “neighborhoods” intended to suit guests’ various needs, preferences, moods and times of their visits, including: a power aisle for to-go orders; a quick, in-and-out area for lunch at a table or window bar; a community table for dining with friends; a lounge area that is ideal for afternoon work sessions; and a more traditional area for having dinner in a booth with family or friends

• A glycol tea tap system, which will keep Salata’s organic teas perfectly chilled at 34 degrees Fahrenheit

Yesterday’s grand opening festivities included partnerships with local organizations and businesses. Twenty percent of grand opening day sales benefitted Terry High School Ranger Band. Salata hosted a free yoga class onsite with Well Soul Fitness and a build-your-own succulent bar with Cajun Cacti and Succulents. Some lucky guests received giveaways including a Salata gift basket and Texas-themed t-shirts designed by Texas native artist Alli K.

The Rosenberg Salata marks the 87th location for the company nationwide. It is operated by franchise group Supreme Greens, LLC under owner Joe Piro.

The Rosenberg Salata is managed by Taylor Piro and employs 25.

The Rosenberg Salata is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sundays.
