Kim Bernshausen has started her presidential year with the Rosenberg Rotary. Kim joined Rosenberg Rotary Club in February 2020.
She has been a Fort Bend County resident for 40 years, living in Richmond and Rosenberg.
She attended BF Terry High School, and Wharton County Junior College.
She obtained her (BBA) Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from LeTourneau University in East Texas.
Kim had previously worked in various credit and finance roles in the Energy Industry for 12 years and has worked the last 18 years as a commercial loan officer in the banking industry.
She is married to Brad Bernshausen and has two children Blake and Bailey.
Kim is currently the Banking Center President & Commercial Loan Officer at Prosperity Bank in Rosenberg.
Her hobbies are fishing with her family at Sargent, spending time with her pets, camping, traveling, and volunteering her time with Rosenberg Rotary Club.
Along with being a member of the Rosenberg Rotary Club, she is also a member of the Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Commercial Real Estate for Women, Fort Bend Society of Commercial Realtors, and Daughters of the American Revolution-Fort Bend Chapter.
The 2021-2022 Rotary theme is “Serve to Change Lives.”
RI President Shekhar Mehta is urging members to become more involved in service projects.
“Caring for and serving other is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own,” Shekhar said.
The Rotary meets on Wednesdays at noon at the Ol’ Railroad Cafe in Historic Downtown Rosenberg.
